WDIR The number one inspection conducted/required in Mississippi is the Wood Destroying Insect Report (WDIR).
This report is required by all lenders and most buyers prior to closing. Completed by licensed pest inspection services, the WDIR inspects for and reports activity by a variety of termites, wood beatles, rot, vermin or other household pests which, if gone untreated, can cause serious damage and, in some instances, structural failure of a building.
This report is generally provided by the seller in a window of not more than 30 days prior to closing. Your agent can give you more specific details
